A SELF DECEIVING COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA

Twenty-one senators currently receiving pensions from government as ex-governors and deputy governors.
 
The current senators who once served as governors are Bukola Saraki of Kwara, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, Kabiru Gaya of Kano, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Theodore Orji of Abia, Abdullahi Adamu of Nasarawa, Sam Egwu of Ebonyi, Shaaba Lafiagi of Kwara, Joshua Dariye of Plateau Jonah Jang of Plateau, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko of Sokoto, Ahmed Sani Yarima of Zamfara, Danjuma Goje of Gombe, Bukar Abba Ibrahim of Yobe, Adamu Aliero of Kebbi, George Akume of Benue and Isiaka Adeleke of Osun.

   The  former deputy governors in the Senate are Ms Biodun Olujimi of Ekiti and Enyinaya Harcourt Abaribe of Abia. Danladi Abubakar Sani served as the acting governor of Taraba state.
  Many former governors are also in Buhari's Cabinet as Ministers. This includes: Ngige, Fayemi, Amaechi and Fashola (SAN).

  In Akwa Ibom State, the law provides that ex governors and deputy governors receive pension equivalent to the salaries of the incumbent. The package also includes a new official car and a utility vehicle every four years; one personal aide; a cook, chauffeurs and security guards for the governor at a sum not exceeding N5 million per month and N2.5 million for his deputy governor.

  In Rivers, the law provides 100 percent of annual basic salaries for the ex-governor and deputy, one residential house for the former governor “anywhere of his choice in Nigeria”; one residential house anywhere in Rivers for the deputy, three cars for the ex-governor every four years and two cars for the deputy every four years.
  It is alledged that in Lagos, a former governor will get two houses, one in Lagos and another in Abuja, estimated at N500 million in Lagos and N700 million in Abuja. He also receives six new cars to be replaced every three years; a furniture allowance of 300 percent of annual salary to be paid every two years, and a N30 million pension annually for life.
  This is the reality for all the 21 ex govenors and deputy governors who are currently serving as senators. This same is also true of ex governors who are now serving as Ministers.
  NOW I ASK:  How many years did these guys serve their states as governors and deputy governors? Is it more than 8years? Is that a reason to be entitled to pensions for life? Even if they are entitled to pension for life, must it be so outrageous?  As if that is not enough: HOW on earth can any public servant with conscience collect salaries and allowances as a senator or minister, and still have the audacity to claim pensions equivalent to the salaries of a serving governor in Nigeria? IT ISN'T
ROCKET SCIENCE......  Once you are elected a senator or appointed a minister, you must forfeit any pension accruing to you from government at any level until you vacate office. This should also apply to senators collecting military pensions like former Senate President David Mark. Yet these senators are in the Senate that is inviting the current finance minister to discuss the recession of Nigeria's economy.
 A senator pockets approximately 30 million naira monthly as salary and allowances. Our "honourables" are not interested to make laws that could restructure our country into economically autonomous federating States/Regions to save the country from sectional agitations that is threatening  to destroy Nigeria.
 
The sad and hopeless situation is that the rest of Nigerians are busy arguing based on party, ethnic and affiliations while these enemies of state continue to rape us.   Do you know that it costs tax payers 290m Naira yearly to maintain each member of our National Assembly in a country where nothing works & 80% of population earn below 300 Naira a day ? A working day earning of a senator is more than a yearly income of a doctor; it's more than the salary of 42 Army generals or 48 professors or 70 commissioners of police or more than twice the pay of the US President or 9times the salary of US congressmen.  Please say NO to looting of Nigeria in the name of democracy by sending this text to at least 5 others.  I think the country must have a referendum on salaries of senators. This must happen very quickly.  If the government can't we the masses must do something.

But Ganduje said that, our God “Allah” is not a weak nor blind god as others may say, our God “Allah” can fight for himself and fight for his followers, so no one should fight in the name of Allah again.  KHADIMUL ISLAM, remain the joint forces to scuttle the ignorant killing of lives and destruction of properties in Kano state, and to educate Kano populace from taking laws in to their hands.  No place that asked Muslims to kill anyone when mocked or make blasphemy to Prophet Mohammed (SAW) in the Holy Quran from the book of (Bakara to Nasi) from the beginning to the end of Quran I’ve not seen that place. He charged every Muslim to prove him wrong if he lied for the Quran, said Ganduje.  My leadership will remain focused in securing lives and properties of kano state, Both Christians and Muslims were the creation of God, if our fellow Christians don’t fight for Jesus Christ or God Almighty, why then do my Muslim brothers kill in the Name of Prophet Mohammed or Allah?  In September 2012, when American Priest set to burn Holy Quran in public as a revange  of September 11 attack by Islamic world terrors, Kano state people took massive match protesting carrying Cross crucified with Cat, “the cat representing their Jesus Christ” those Christians does not care to take laws into their hands,Screen-shot-2012-09-18-at-5.11.21-PM kano state suffer lots of Religious Violence humiliating, killing Christians and destruction of their Churches far back as 1900 till date.  Few months back a woman named Mrs. Bridget was stoned and later beheaded for mockery, which later on was discovered was a lie against her, “she asked the man making his Abolution in front of her shop to move away from blocking her customers, the man mobilized youth against her by stoning and be heading her for mockery.  In Biazin in Kubwa-Abuja, a Redeem Evangelist and mother of four was beheaded for such fallacy of Blasphemy (that she preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ near Mosque).  Three people were killed in Niger state for the same blasphemy to Prophet Mohammed (SAW), The same happened at Sokoto State Poly where 8 lives were lost,  I never heard that Christians fight for Jesus Christ, said Ganduje, I remain committed to end the massive illiterate of Muslims in Kano state. BVN vs Mrs PATIENCE JONAH

 The accusations against Mrs. Jonathan are that she was operating many domiciliary accounts using fictitious names and photographs but she is the sole signatory to all. Due to the huge amount in the accounts, she is also accused of money laundering and living higher than her traceable sources of funds. The accounts were all traceable to her due to recent reforms (BVN) going on in the banking sector. It was first denied but after serious evidence were made available to her lawyers, she eventually saw end of the road and succumbed but nonsensically! Let us look at her defence; Mrs Jonathan said she actually requested that all those accounts which were opened at Skye Bank be opened in her name but that the bank opened it 'wrongly' using names different from her name. LOL. The bank in Nigeria opened a Sitting First Lady Account and missed her name. Haahaaaa! She said she has told them since 2014 to change the names and pictures. And when they brought her FOUR DEBIT CARDS, she also saw that her name was not on the cards and she complained to Skye Bank and they promised to do so. Another LOL. But she was operating both accounts. Funds were coming in and out. In fact she used those cards during her recent medical visit to Europe. She used the cards till July 2016 before she was officially caught! As a Banker, I don't believe these stories by Mrs. Jonathan. They are stinkingly cheap lies that make no financial sense. Before an account is opened, opening form will be filled, photos will be attached, at least 2 references will be done and KYC (Know Your Customer) will be done. In KYC, the bank will verify all the information supplied by the customer to be, check the document and utility bills and then verify the home and company address. After which the account will be opened. Mrs Jonathan has taken EFCC and Skye Bank to court and she's demanding for additional N200m As damages to join to the already looted national wealth in her various fraudulent accounts.  Of course, Commercial Banks in Nigeria are part of the reasons why we are where we are today crookedness is their business and dirty money and profit are their hubby! Let us see how our SANs will rubbish this case too remember, our SANs in Nigeria are those who mastered the art of upturning justice and providing safety for looters while bad eggs in the judiciary are their collaborators!
