Agriculture remains easiest way to boost Nigerian economy – Okojie

The immediate past Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius Okojie has emphasized that Agriculture remains the easiest way to boost the nation’s economy and guarantee stable internal revenue for the country.
He made this known during his reception at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta where he left 15 years ago before his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the NUC.
Okojie who said he was happy to return to his base after one and half decade of leave of absence, noted that the country has gone beyond the era of mono economy.
While inspecting some of the farm produce of the University, Okojie said a lot of things has changed in the institution as some of his students at that time are now occupying top positions in the university system.
