CBN to borrow $3.02 billion in three months

The Central Bank of Nigeria is wanting to get the aggregate of $3.02bn with new issues of Treasury Bills from September 15 to December 1, 2016.

In its most recent TBs issuance date-book, the CBN said it would offer $839.9m worth of three-month charges, $649.9m of six-month bills and $1.5 billion of one-year bills.

The Federal Government is relied upon to obtain around $2.9billion from the nearby market to extension its spending shortfall, which is assessed at $6.9 billion in the 2016 spending plan.

As per the Debt Management Office, the Federal Government is additionally wanting to obtain $387m in neighborhood coin named bonds at a sale on September 14.

Every one of the bonds are re-openings of already issued obligation.
