Customs reiterates ban on rice imports through land



The Nigeria Customs Service says that it will grab any rice imported through the country's property outskirts.

The Deputy Comptroller, Ogun State Customs Command, Mohammed Gagiyo issued the notice while showcasing several sacks of rice that were snuck in thirty-seven vehicles along the Idiroko outskirt range.

He noted with worry that in spite of the restriction on importation of rice through the land outskirts, unwholesome cross fringe pirating of rice still endure.

Several bikes utilized as method for movement by dealers were additionally appropriated.
