President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday was in a shut meeting with the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Talking with State House journalists toward the end of the meeting, Alaafin of Oyo said dialogs at the meeting verged on issues confronting the nation, incorporating militancy in the Niger Delta and revolt in the North.
As indicated by him, Buhari asked for conventional rulers to pass on their recommendation on issues in the nation in composing.
He said: "As a Nigerian and one of the highest conventional rulers in the nation, I sent a notice to the President, which he recognized, and he requesting that I come and underwrite those things I have composed.
